The Academic Activities of the College.
Intensive Teaching Programme: The college has intensive teaching programme for the pupil-teachers in addition to important lectures. Conducting of regular tutorials: The students are given special tutorial wherein important topics are discussed by teachers with small batches of students. This ensures to help the students to overcome their problems/difficulties as well as to have a close relation with each other. Weekly Tests/Cycle Tests
- Every week, tests are conducted on a particular subject. They are duly corrected and the mistakes are pointed out to the students individually. The programmes so followed are periodically revised by the college authorities, which lay guidelines and policies for the working of curricular as well as co-curricular activities of the college. Indeed, this type of training imparted to our students helps them in the University examinations.
Co-curricular Activities
- The institute organizes the other activities such as debates, discussions, symposiums, field trips, seminars, competitions, quiz programmes, excursions etc.
Contact with Parents/Guardians
- The college regularly informs the parents/guardians regarding the various activities going on in the college, and thus maintains direct contact with them.
Educational Technology Cell
- The college has a well furnished Educational Technology Cell with Cybernetic software, audio-video films, overhead projector, film projector, tape recorders etc.
Conferences and Workshops
- The college functions as a center for organizing seminars, conferences and workshops on important educational and research topics. Distinguished educationists and experts are invited to participate and provide guidance.
Computer Awareness Programmes

Computers are playing a very important role in today's life and there
is no field of human activity in which computers cannot help. This
has prompted the management to install fifteen computers along with
printers, disc drives etc. Arrangements have been made to provide
computer awareness facilities to B. Ed. trainees in the college.
They will receive training in computer education by learning skill
to use computers in teaching-learning process.
Practice of Teaching

Practice of teaching programme for the
B. Ed. trainees is organized in ideal conditions in the experimental
school attached with the college and other two schools located at
Talab Tillo and Shakti Nagar. The trainees come in contact with experienced
teachers and get inspiration and learn teaching techniques.
Value Education
- The College organizes various programmes such as lectures,
symposiums, debates etc. The distinguished persons are invited to deliver
lectures on value education. This helps to imbibe/strengthen the value of
life among the pupil teachers so that they are able to inculcate the same
among the young children.
